Microsoft Telescope – Wow!

written by Web Considerations

Have you seen the new Microsoft Telescope? It really is pretty amazing and it blew me away the first time I saw it without even getting into all the various features it offers. Although I have never really gotten into much astronomy, the science has always fascinated and intrigued me. The wonder, beauty and mystery of such a vast creation, can really be humbling and only deepens my faith of just how wonderful and powerful God really is.

The software functions as a “virtual telescope” and brings together a HUGE collection of images and data from various locations into one source allowing users to explore the universe from the own PC (with a internet connection, of course). Images from the world’s best known and foremost space telescopes are now virtually at your fingertips.

Using the software does have some minimum system requirements such as 3D graphics capability, Windows XP SP2, 1GB RAM and a few others but with today’s technology, most systems should fit the bill.

You can find out everything about the Microsoft Telescope that you need to know and download the software at http://worldwidetelescope.org/. If you have not already checked it out, I would highly recommend it. It is a lot of fun and I truly believe that you will be impressed.
