A little about me…

My name is Bert Hixson and I live in Douglasville, GA and I own and operate Web Considerations, LLC.

I picked up my first web site book around June of 2006 and started building a few websites here and there really just as a hobby. After several months, I picked up a few customers and the work I was turning out was really pretty good. At least, my customers and I both were pleased with the outcome of the final site.

I’ve built several different sites for  specific types of business like landscaping, drywall services, fund purchases, travel investments, and a few church and mission outreach programs.

About six months later, I expanded my services and started offering website hosting as a added option to the website being developed. It really is nice to make that available for those who needed a place to host their site. It provided a one stop shop to get the business or personal website online.

Then, early in 2007, I started fooling around in WordPress. It is another specific type of website design that is used for blogging but now is rapidly becoming a popular content management system.  Not too long later, I had a customer ask me about building a WordPress theme from scratch for him… so I did. It was quite a learning experience.  So, with that in mind, I wanted to learn more about WordPress and built one of my own – which you see here.

As time marched on, Web Considerations has continued to expand to a point where the once time hobby has now become a full time job for which I am eternally grateful.

I thoroughly enjoy the art and beauty of website design and it is my hope that it encourages you to learn about it also through my website design and hosting services.  I have enjoyed it very much and I hope to be talking with you soon.
